SEMNI is pleased to announce that the 2026 edition of the Congress on Numerical Methods in Engineering (CMN 2026) will be held from July 1 to 3, 2026, in Gijón, Spain.

Be sure to mark the date on your calendar!

Additionally, we are delighted to invite you to contribute to making CMN 2026 a successful scientific event by organizing a thematic session on a topic within your area of expertise.

In line with the tradition of the CMN conferences, CMN 2026 aims to cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Applications to electronic engineering
  • Behaviour of thin wall structures
  • Coastal oceanography and engineering
  • Computational hydraulic
  • Contact materials
  • Dynamic material behaviour
  • Dynamic material behaviour
  • Flow in porous media
  • Geomaterials
  • Incremental stamping
  • Linear algebra parallel methods
  • Meshfree methods
  • Modeling in biological and biomimetics processes
  • Multi-body dynamics
  • Neuronal networks
  • Numerical modeling in fire safety engineering
  • Polymers structures
  • Residual methods for differential equations
  • Seismic engineering
  • Structure engineering
  • Transport engineering
  • Other numerical methods

As many topics as participants wish to propose will be considered. We especially encourage proposals for thematic sessions in emerging and developing fields that broaden the scope of applications.

Guidelines for the proposal and organisation of Thematic Sessions as well as further information concerning the conference may be found on the conference website:
